Yagmur Elmas

As an expatriate English Language Teacher, I bring nine years of diverse teaching experience to support student growth, engagement, and achievement across various levels and educational contexts. I am dedicated to designing impactful and inclusive learning experiences through innovative methodologies and the effective integration of technology.

I hold a B.A. in English Language Teaching and a TEFL certification, and I am currently pursuing my M.A. in the same field, with a thesis focused on the experiences of non-native English teachers working abroad. Previously, I was awarded a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistantship at the University of Washington, USA—an experience that deepened my understanding of cross-cultural communication and global education practices.

My expertise spans K–12 education, IELTS preparation, general English instruction, online teaching, university prep school exam preparation, curriculum development, and educational coordination. With strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail, I am highly adaptable and committed to overcoming challenges in dynamic educational environments.
