How I Teach My Courses
Hello and welcome! I’m an experienced ESL teacher who loves helping students discover the joy of learning English. My courses are designed to be interactive, engaging, and learner-friendly, especially for young learners in primary and lower secondary school. I focus on creating a safe and supportive classroom environment where students feel confident to try, speak, and grow.
I use a student-centered approach that encourages active participation. In each lesson, I combine all four language skills—listening, speaking, reading, and writing—through fun and meaningful activities. These include games, songs, storytelling, short dialogues, role-plays, and videos, all carefully chosen to match the students' level and interests.
For younger learners, I use lots of visuals, gestures, realia (real objects), and repetition to help them understand and remember new vocabulary and structures. With older students, I incorporate more project-based learning, group discussions, and writing tasks to help them express themselves more fully.
I adapt my lessons to different learning styles, making sure every child can follow and enjoy the lesson. I also give clear instructions, consistent routines, and positive reinforcement to help students stay motivated and on track.
Each course follows a clear structure: we review what we already know, learn something new, practice it together, and then apply it in real-life contexts. I use ongoing assessments and friendly feedback to guide students forward.
My goal is not just to teach English, but to help students communicate with confidence, enjoy learning, and believe in themselves. I believe every child has the ability to succeed when given the right support, encouragement, and tools. In my classroom, mistakes are part of learning, and every small step forward is celebrated. I aim to make each lesson a positive experience where students feel respected, seen, and valued.
By the end of each course, I want my students to not only improve their English skills, but also feel proud of their progress. I want them to leave each lesson with a smile, knowing they learned something new and are one step closer to reaching their goals.
Whether you're just starting your English journey or building on what you already know, I’m here to guide, support, and cheer you on every step of the way. Let’s learn, grow, and have fun together!
