As a long term lover and an admirer of sharing knowledge and also learning new things, I’m delighted to be submitting my application for I am a student at Hacettepe University majoring in French Translation and Interpretation. My love for learning new languages motivates me to teach them to new comers or intermediates while also introducing them to new cultures and a brand new horizons full of different perspectives.

While my time in the French Culture Society at Hacettepe University, I have found that learning new languages can be intimidating for people. While I get that It can be stressful to do anything that is new, I would love to guide people to a way of learning that is fun and continues with their own pace.

I would also like to point out that I’m an actor currently working in a private theater company. My acting and drama skills allow me to have a dynamic lecture flow and prepare materials that are actually educational while being fun. Using drama methods as a teaching device helps me see a much more paced learning experience in my students.

Being introduced to the country’s culture forms a comfortable and amusing learning environment while exposing the student to the grammar. You can say that the conventional way of teaching and learning is a formula, I think a little differently. My opinion is that the learning schedule should be customized as the class goes on and be shaped into the needs of the student. A kind, supportive teaching could never hurt, right?
