Hi there! My name is Anisa and I'm a certified online ESL teacher from South Africa. I have obtained my TEFL certificates from the Nabeel Abed Academy in the year 2020.
I am teaching English for the past 3 years. I teach kids General English from the ages of 3-16 years old.
My lessons include Phonics, Vocabulary, Comprehension,Fluency , Pronunciation etc.
I incorporate all 4 skills in my lessons : Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking skills. I also use Props and TPR (Total Physical Response) during my lessons to gain the attention of my students.
In addition to that I also teach adults Conversational English and Business English. My adult students have a choice to choose their own topics or kind if they wish , I could choose a topic for them and we converse constructively. The adults whom I teach English to can be anyone from the workforce: be it professionals like doctors, therapists, dentists , accountants to janitors,a taxi cab driver , plumber, electrician , restaurant managers & waiters to even the retired elderly people and housewives.
I'm happy to focus on the needs of my students and help them improve on their English language skills.
